Karryl
“My pieces capture a moment in time in order to bring others to a closer awareness and appreciation of the natural world” – Karryl.
Karryl works in clay and casts in bronze. She has a loose style, concentrating on capturing the spirit of the moment.
After she receiving her BFA from the University of Colorado, Karryl continued her education with workshops at the Loveland Academy and an apprenticeship with artist Hollis Williford.
A signature member of the Society of Animal Artists and Artists for Conservation, Karryl’s award winning sculptures have been shown in invitational and juried shows across the country. Her monumental sculptures have adorned parks as well as private homes.
“Karryl is one of the most original sculptors working in the field today. Her unique perspective often reveals a side of her subjects seldom seen in any art. She seems to possess this innate ability to think from the animal’s perspective…presenting an exciting and fresh composition every time. I love having her work in my home” – John Banovich, artist and conservationist.
