On the Hunt: Floral Composition Workshop

Join us for the 1st annual floral composition competition hosted by Bryce Vann Brock and Kelly Revels of St. Simons Island’s The Vine. Teams of two will be asked to design a wildlife inspired floral composition and the winner will receive a prize, plus be displayed at the 21st Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival Opening Night Fine Art Show Party on Friday, November 18th! Be “On the Hunt” for anything you see out in nature to incorporate into your team’s composition!

Thursday, November 17 | 1 PM

Studio 209 – 209 West Remington Avenue, Thomasville, GA

$150 per team, $75 for an individual

How it works:
Each team will be given the same flowers and have one hour to create a wildlife inspired floral arrangement. Bryce and Kelly will go through technique and have their own mini floral competition to demonstrate how to begin. Each team is allowed to bring in items collected from nature. Moss, lichen, branches and greenery will be allowed (no flowers). We want this to be a fun creative experience for everyone, so floral experience is not required. There will be a surprise guest judge and everyone walks away with a prize.

Class limited to 20 teams (40 attendees total). You can register as a team or individually and if you need a teammate, email bjones@thomasville.org.

What will be provided:
Seasonal Flowers
Wire – Straight and Flexible
Watering Cans
Floral Tape
